I moved here for year in 2004-2005. It was my first apt. The apartments are very large which is nice. The management is kinda mean but atleast she is on time with things and calls you when there is a problem. I have been at other complexes since then (1700 place, street road). That place made Shaminy Brooks look like high rises in Center City. There were some bad things that came with the apt. The central air absolutly sucks. I would have it running all day and it wouldn't get below 80 degrees. My electric bill was 231$ in one month for a one bdroom apt. The other tenants are Mexican's and lower class people but I did not have any problems with them. I think my apt was just nicer then a lot of other peoples. I was right above the office.

I would like to know how the neighborhood is. I never lived her but I did view the apartment and the complex. I thought the apartments were large and very nice, and very close to many stores and malls. It did seem like it was a large Mexixan community, and I was put off my many ppl who had sheets and blankets hanging for curtains. But I'm not sure how bad it actually is
