I can't believe that housing and inspection would give a use and occupancy approval to this complex. I have a sliding door that falls out when you open it. It fell on me. I have been waiting since August when I officially moved in for Maintenance. I have been told by the propery manager that it is on order. My washer and Dryer have not worked since I moved in. My neighbors have mold in thier bathrooms. a leak in the roof, gutters falling down, Ants everywhere. How dare Bensalem township allow this to continue. The mayor needs to take a sharp look at what is going on here and housing and inspection needs to be taken to task for allowing use and occupancy permits. The water billing is robbery at its best. You can't get a copy of the bill and you pay for the misuse of others including broken pipes that no one fixes. Who ever heard of paying $75.00 a month up to what ever the office manager decides. Trust me that is only the beginning of what goes on here. No matter what do not move in to this complex. You would be better off living on the street. Oxford Realty Group needs to loose its license to do business in Pennsylvania. Slum lords at best. Mr Mayor where are you'

I feel for you. We moved in and stayed until couldn't stand it any more) because it was one of a few places that would take our dog (for a non-refundable pet deposit and a hefty pet fee). We eventially found a nice entire 3 bedroom house for a bucks more (actually almost the same if factor in the absurd water bill) in Holland that took the dog and didn't charge us extra each month but just took a refundable pet deposit (which we got back when we moved out to buy a house).
Good luck

ya were having the same problems and totally agree with you. dont think i need to go any further, you pretty much got to the point. just wanted to know if you have taken any steps to get compensation or take it any further. have you tried refusal to pay your rent? did you notice in your lease that it states they have "adequate" time to fix the problem. if you feel you given them adequate time then they are in breach of contract. if i were you i would read the contract word for word and if anything looks like they did not stay true to the lease then i would contact a lawyer. you have rights! but seriously my professional advice to you would involve talking only in person to management in a way that would benefit you. Odds are if you went to the office with a very patient attitude and spoke as nicely and calm as possible about the problem, they would tell you an exact date (within an adequate time frame) that it would be fixed. Then when that date comes and its not fixed, give them a day or two bumper, and go personally back down there and tell them in a patient and calm manner that your problem is not yet fixed, and that this is a huge inconvenience to you. Ask them politely if they could make up the inconvenience to you in the form of a half months rent. or maybe in your case 1 or 2 months. I 200% guarantee that the management would be more than happy to save you about $1300! But if at any time they sense an attitude then they wont want to help you. and at that point your pissin in the wind. Because if anything went to court, your gonna lose miserably. save yourself time, headache, and maybe a whole months rent or more and treat management exactly as you can possibly imagine someone treating you and you wanting to actually help them and i know for a fact they would compensate you. ask yourself this and answer as if to respect yourself, did you ever give them attitude? My monies are on ya probably did. being friendly and treating people with dignity can take you further than any other aspect known to man!
