I read reviews of several locations before deciding to move here. I ve lived here several months and have not had many major issues or complaints. When something needed to be fixed, I notified housing and maintenance fixed it within a reasonable amount of time. The area is nice and friendly, with friendly neighbors. It s a quiet neighborhood and I enjoy living here overall. Every tenant s experience will always be somewhat different than the rest and that s why you don t judge a book by its cover. I won't have a problem renewing my lease for another year.

Hey Mr. Anonymous, is your real name Frank our new manager who has yet to replace the breezeway light i have complainded about for months now. If it is do me a favor and teach one of your maintence crew (I give that title to them with a chuckle) how to climb a ladder and screw in a light bulb. If not, you grab the YELLOW PAGES and look under ELECTRICIAN. It can't be that hard. But I will agree the area and the neighbors are nice. That is why it is such a shame that the management will NOT take care of it's tennants. We pay enough, us it to our advantage!

to be fair when we first moved in here it was almost 4 years ago and the people that owned it was FANTASTIC!! ever since oxford reality took the place over it has become a total dump!! lets start with the dumpsters , they use to be kept hidden and there use to be 4 of them in every little dumpster houseing , NOW since reality took over they wanted to cut the cost to THEM and now there are dumpsters all over the place , the old housing for the dumpsters are half falling down , in some cases they just took the walls down all together. there are only 1 - 2 dumpsters per what little housing is left for them instead of 4 which apparently is NOT enough considering you walk around the complex and there are trash pags all over the grounds because the dumpsters are filled!! Now talking about walking around the grounds that are now literally loaded with dog sh**, because no one cleans up after their animals , well guess what they never did with the old owners either BUT the old owners would hire the kids in the complex to clean up trash, dog sh**, papers , etc from the grounds. Which not only made the kids happy but also kept the rest of the tenants happy with their effort to try and keep this place looking nice! Now lets move on to other issues - my rent keeps going up as my apartment keeps getting worse and worse! The only way I ever get anything at all done is to go to the office everyday and complain in person. when that doesn't work I will go there and sit ALL day In pat's office and not leave till a maintance person comes back with me !! Noise is another issue, when you complain about noise , or the kids jumping on your roof, or any complaint you have about a neighbor , they always tell you the same thing call the cops. the cops come say its your complex that has to do something not them. back and back you go for months meanwhile NOTHING gets done!! Now lets talk about the pool , which is SUPPOSE to be for our residents and their guests.. well since oxford also owns the property down the street ( who keep in mind pays anywhere from 2 - 3 hundred dollars LESS a month in rent then we do , is NOW aloud to use the pool that the TENANTS of thunder hollow pay for !! we pay extra for the pool , we pay to fill the pool , and they get to come in and use it for free ??? What sense does that make to us ?? We use to have a water bill of $40 - $50 ... NOW the bill is over $75 a month !! i asked with so many empty apartments WHY is the bill going up and not down ? they claim because so many people have left BUT shouldn't that make the bill go down considering less people are using the water ??? That's another thing to talk about - no individual meters they take the whole complex bill and divide it to all the apartments. now that wouldn't be so bad if they divided it FAIRLY , BUT we are talking about oxford so that of course is NOT the case. they only divide the water buy the amount of ADULTS in an apartment ... so if a couple moves in .. they pay the same as a family with 2 adults and 3 kids !!! It has been my experience that kids waste more water then adults , so how is this fair ? The mold issue is a GROWING concern considering that over 8 people in this complex with in the past year have developed cancer ( at least 2 of them are terminal) their are over 9 people who are living on oxygen to breath due to the MOLD and one of them was a 3 year old child. people live here with their cabinets proped up with 2 x 4's because its NOT in the complex budget to FIX their cabinets , they live without washers, dryers, dishwashers working bathrooms etc for month and months out of the year. and the only reason we stay ... YOU CAN NOT AFFORD TO LEAVE, they charge so much rent and then nickle and dime you with water prices ( that raise every month) old units so your electric bill goes thru the roof, and they are one of the FEW places that will allow dogs ! But you have to wonder if its all worth it. the staff in the office is horrible no matter what kind of attitude you go in with, the maintence guys are sweet guys , but are so thread spin they can't not possibly fix all the items without hiring more people , the bathrooms are a disgrace!! thats all i can say about it. the mold is the most concern right now , i walk my dog and talk to other dog owners and it seams that our pets are now starting to get sick, the children are starting to get sick and i have asked maintence if this place was going section 8 - his response when he got done laughing was : We are NOT UP TO CODE to be a section 8 complex !! ! I think those words say it all !!
