I have the same problems! My downstairs toilet has been leaking for 4 months now! Leaving dirty water stains on my den rug. They came out turned the water to it off & said "we'll be back tomorrow" & I havent seen them since.. despite my many calls & letters. Before this I fought for months to get the lights outside fixed because of a guy who tried to murder a girl at the mall knocking on my door, and they were never done. So I had them done myself & took the bill off my rent. Figured it would be ok because I wrote countless letters explaining that was my intention. Now they will not let me take it off my rent because the maintenance guy said he did it! NOPE! But still I refuse to pay it. My gutter has trees growing from them! My electric bill was over $400 because they never put the plastic screen over the heater unit & it constantly ran blowing out cold air. I could keep going, but you get my point

What a bunch of dummies you all are You're paying more "per person" than a homeowner is paying for an entire house in the area That clause on the back of your lease "Variable water rates" is the the reason you're paying so much Average water bill for an entire house, with garden, is under $400 per annum, you're paying more than that per person For that amount of money, you should be drinking and bathing in champagne

You are correct, but sadly this is one of the few places in the area that take pets. If you have pets and need to move into a rental and can't/won't send your beloved pet to it's possible death at a shelter, you are without many options...this place is one of them. We endured the torture for a year and then found a lovely rental house in Holland..it was great..we kept it perfect and only called the owner/landlord in a dire emergency. When we were blessed enough to be able to buy a house the owner skipped the country with our $1800 deposit...stupidly we had paid our last month's rent (duh)

You can't easily find a decent home for under $250,000 that has a Payment, Taxes, Interest & Insurance lower than, or even at, what we pay here. I have to tell ya, I've lived in many parts of America and I have to say, living in this part of the Country is like living in the A$$ Hole of America. Housing is a disgrace and way, way too highly priced. Why do people take their homes and do nothing with it for 40 years and try to sell you a piece of $hit for 1/4 million? We've been looking for a home to buy for 3 years and let me tell ya we've seen some really crap homes for 1/4 million or even more. What a joke. I'm doing my best to get as far form Philadelphia as I possibly can.
