heres a good one i bougth a hose to clean the filth off of the front of my unit because no one else will and also for my daughter to play with in the summer cause she is to little yet for the pool well someone stole it. so ok it happens well stupid me goes and gets my daughter another hose to play with for the summer and not even a day later they stole it again.now im not dumb enough to go buy another hose but it really is a shame that for 1475.00 a month among all the other many many many issues i have with this god awful place i cant even keep a hose for my daughter to play with

I know what you mean. This is my 3rd year here and it keeps getting worse. When we were looking around for a place to live, I had gone online to check Thunder Hollow out. I read more than a few negative opinions of the place. But my boyfriend pointed out to me that people mostly voice their opinions when they have something negative to say. Now that I have been here for over 2 years, I have not met one person that is happy here. The rent here is very high, the utilities are very high, and the maintenance in absolutely non-existent! I have also heard that a lot of subsidized housing is moving in. The people working in the office and the maintenance crew obviously don't care a fig for the residents. They continually lie to you and tell you that things will be done. I know some people that have gone months without a working washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. They tell you to take your clothes to a vacant unit and use their machines, which usually don't work either. It doesn't matter how clean and like new you leave your place, you are NOT going to get your security deposit back. I have never seen or heard any place like this. I seriously don't know how they can get away with they run this place and still demand the exorbitant rent they charge. I will be so glad to get out of here, and I will tell everyone and anyone that will listen how awful it is here.

i lived there 3 years , when I 1st moved it , it was under old management and it was FANTASTIC!! if something was broken they fixed it right away !! if you had an issue , they corrected it straight away. my water and trash bill totaled $39.00 a month the trash was kept in their bins and caged with those fenced areas, there was NEVER any trash on the ground and there was NEVER any dog ---- anywhere . the 1st year they raised my rent $10.00 a month that was it !! the year the new owners took over , the place went to h*ll!! my water jumped to $19.90 a month !! , nothing was taken care of , they started taken down the gates for the dumpsters , then actually put the dumpsters in the parking lot !! I was afraid to walk my dog any where on the premises cause it was loaded with dog ---- , the maintenance was non existant , i had water leaking out of my cabinets for months at a time ... i had to buy cabinets to put in the dining area just in order to keep dry food in my apartment , and lets not forget the famous bathrooms. I had complained for 2 months about my water not turning off properly so i was taking a shower and the knob fell off when i went to turn the water off , so half naked i run down the stairs to get a pair of pliers to turn the water off ( of course keep in mind it was the hot water not the cold ) i leaned over the tub to balance i put my hand on the wall then went to turn the water off with the pliers , as i did this the whole wall caved in. they came to fix it. here was their solotion - they placed a trash bag over the whole and ducktaped it. said you should be good to go now. for 3 months i tried to get them to repair it cause i was tired of seeing the trash bag and tuck tape when I went to get a shower.the only reason they fixed it is i sat in the office from the time they opened till the time they closed for 4 working days explaining to anyone who walked thru the door that they refused to fix my bathroom and was forced to live with a trashbag and duct tape. after about the 6th potential renter that i successfully helped to detour away from the place they finally caved in and fixed it , it was exactly 5 months when they got the entire job done. but every other week i was in the office for the bathroom leaking all over my kitchen , water coming out of my light ficture and them stating oh thats ok it will stop eventually . to times where i could not turn the water off at all and they made me wait 36 hours 1 week with my water on full force before they came to fix it. you can NOT walk anywhere at all outside with the trash and the dog ---- . they have not won an award in years , all those awards on the wall in the offoce , take a look at the dates!! they have not won one since the new management!! when i was there , there were 2 drug busts , and a shooting , and someone trying to slit someone's throat .. the cops were constantly there from the end of the time i lived there ... once this started i got the h*ll out of there . I even broke my lease , figured I wasn't going to get my deposit back anyway so why not just leave to a safe place to live. then we pay for the pool and they let the other complexes use the pool that don';t have to pay for the water or for the maintence on it. and thats ONLY when they can have the pool open because the lifeguard is NEVER there ! the reason they can charge outrageous monthly fees is because they allow animals , and when i use tolive there it was a variety of dogs , when I left their it was all pitballs & rotwielers . because no one else would accept these dogs so they all came here . and people remember when it was old management and they reccomend the place on that alone because it was absolutely wonderful BEFORE this management took over !! IF YOU READ THIS DO NOT MOVE THERE !! I BEG OF YOU TO READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND TAKE THEM VERY VERY SERIOUSLY !! the ONLY good reviews they have are from the management team who puts them in there to try and throw you off !!

I am so furious righ tnow we have lived here 15 mos and nothing has been fixed then on 9/1/08 my roof on the 1st floor leak again and fell thru. They said the roofer came out and caulked the windows the roof is fine. Then the "maintenace men" came in and butchered my ceiling with pieces of drywall, I told mgt. that the roof was still leaking and they did nothing now today 9/28 my entire ceiling in the living room came falling down on my TV stero and almost my daughter at this very moment I am on line looking for a lawyer and the phone # for the Building Inspectors office in bucks county. Also, I sent thunder hollow and oxford realty group a certified letter with pics of all the many problems here and gave them 10 days to fix. Well times up! This place is worse then North Philly the only difference is we pay 10 x's the amount to live.

I hate this place too. This is the worst place I have ever lived at in my life. They rented us a filthy dirty; unpainted, disgusting unit - with so many things wrong in it. We know it will never be fixed; yet are locked into a contract here. I am furious as well; of their general lack of concern; their incompetence of being knowledgeble on leasing units unfit to live in. I wake up miserable every day since I moved here wondering what will break next - or if they kitchen sink is going to leak into the cabinet -ruining everything underneath - Someone needs to get a petition and go to the proper authorities and report these people for getting away with this.
