I have to say that I read these reviews prior to signing my lease and I thought "wow, these people are crazy". I am sorry that I did not pay more attention to some of these reviews prior to living with squirrels for a year. They were not in the actual unit running around with me - however, they lived in the crawl space between the 1st and 2nd floors so all day and night, you would hear them running around and scratching at the ceiling. We called numerous times to get assistance with having someone remove them. We were told "Oh no, that is awful, we'll get someone out there right away". Well after the 7th or 8th time, the Bensalem Wildlife people came out to set traps. We had a trap outside our bedroom window where it caught a squirrel. We called them to remove the trap with the dead squirrel inside for more than two weeks. The smell of dead, rotting squirrel came through closed windows to wake us up - only when we threatened to call the Board of Health did maintenance come to remove the rotting corpse.

In addition to the free pets living in our units (they ran from unit to unit - not just trapped in ours) we also had electrical issues not resolved for the entire year that we lived there. They say that they have to have Bensalem township inspect your unit before you move in, but what they don't tell you is that they never actually fix the stuff the Township finds wrong. Our unit failed inspection and they didn't fix any of the things until 1 month before we left - 11 months into our lease. Now that we are out of the unit we are getting the same "we'll call you back" routine on where our security deposit is. The units are a nice show - a lot of space, large closets, etc., but once you are a resident the perks end there. In fact - their "fix" for a rusty sink is to spray paint it white...that works until you actually scrub the bathroom sink three times and clog it with paint chips!

The other awful part of the staff is that they do not screen their tenants so after we moved in they rented the unit next door to 12 men in their 20s and 30s. They were up all hours of the night, threw all of their trash on the lawn - we came home to bowls of food, including the bowl, thrown on our lawn, etc. It is a shame because if someone could come in and clean this place up - it would be a nice place to live.

Sounds like you live in my old unit. one time the squirells did get in my unit and the office said I would have to leave, i said ok I pay 1500/mos and I have to leave, yeah right!
