I moved out almost a year ago after living there for 5 years. when i started it was owned by another company , but they sold it to oxford which is the most horrrible people I have ever dealt with. I actually had my bathroom wall cave in where the tiles are and they made me live with a plastic bag with duck tape around it for almost 2 months , until i sat in the office complainging I would not leave till it was fixed. lets mention about the mold under the air conditioner / heater unit, and please lets NOT forget about my cabinets pouring water out constantly and them teling me o i will be there time and time again when they never showed up and fighting with them for month after month after month. not to mention all food I ever left on the counter was constantly ruined by the water coming from a hole in the pipes in my upstairs bathroom , so bad that I actually had to go out and buy storage cabinets to put in my dining area just so I could keep dry food in the house. believe me if I qualify for your suit I am more than willing to stand up and help you fight what I already know about the place ! I concur with what you have stated. Too many people are giving out hard earned money without being given due respect to their lease term. I am with you 100%; and am dealing with serious issues in the unit I am in. It is not even township code compliant; and refusal was made to view the unit before moving in. Cancellations of getting the unit tenant ready have not been met. It is the worst place I have ever leased in my life and I'm stuck with a one year contract. I am familiar with class action suits after working for six years for a huge corporate legal firm. Happily will assist you with what you need; volunteer my services for researching laws, by-laws and am available to start this immediately. Please respond back to this post; and let's get moving on this so we can stop this farce; and regain our rights as tenants.

Moved out of Hell Hollow 2 years ago. Away from the mold, I breathe better. Got fed up asking them to fix anything and just did it myself. The place was decent before Oxford. Once they took over, it was downhill all the way. I am not sure, but I believe they are Hasidim from Highland Park NJ and there only goal is to make money. While still living there, had also heard that they intentionally were letting it get run down so that at some point, it would be easy to sell the land to the Racetrack for their expansion projects. If former residents can be in the lawsuit, count us in. ptbuzzcut@comcast.net

I lived at Thunder Hollow 3 years ago during the transition from the previous management company to Oxford Realty. I posted a review before the transition and have since been keeping up with the current reviews out of my own curiosity. The pictures and reviews I have seen on this site lately make me VERY glad I left when I did. I would like to suggest that you also try to contact tenants at their other properties if this is allowed by your law suit. I know that many people living at Long Meadow also have the same issues that you do at Thunder Hollow. Long Meadow was owned by Oxford before they acquired Thunder Hollow and is also in Bensalem if you are not aware of it. The rent there is almost as high and the conditions are just as deplorable. I am not sure about the other properties, but my guess is that the situation is the same at each one. The more people you have, the stronger your case. I wish you the best of luck.

I too have had some issues with maintenance, but when I have gotten in touch with the office regarding these issues they are always dealt with. And the office - particularly Stacy - has been very helpful on multiple occasions - including when we almost lost our apartment because we got behind on rent and Stacy helped us by extending the eviction date and accepting payments instead of having to come up with the large sum at once. Additionally, these apartments are one of the nicest around here. The yards are nice and they allow dogs. I rented from Korman for a few months before coming here, and trust me, they are bad! People should realise that postings as negative as these will drive away the nice, freindly and clean people we want as our neighbors. Also, with the current financial climate some people cant afford nicer townhouses like these, and we don't want our neighboring apartments to stay vacant - postings like these could cause more problems than the people who think they are helping know! To anyone reading these to figure out whether they want to live here, pay your rent ontime, notify the office directly if you have maintenance issues, and you should not have too many issues.

This is Jaymie from the office at Thunder Hollow. I'd like to start off by apologizing that I had to cancel our appointment because my fiance was in an accident were his brain was hemmoraging and I had to rush him to the hospital. I even took a few extra minutes to give you a call to let you know I wouldn't be here & what happened. I spoke to you several times that day. You told me that you would try to make it here before your other appointment to see another apartment complex. As far as I'm aware, we only had one appointment scheduled for that day. I have no record of the other three appointments that you claimed to have made. We are very responsible staff in the office. I do not appreciate you using my name in this matter, when I had a family emergency. I would be more than happy to schedule another appointment with you.

Hey, if you think that's bad, I have a really good one for you. I have made 4 separate appointments to view townhouses at Thunder Hollow and each and every time I did it was cancelled by Jaymie. I even once called as I was on my way there to make sure someone was there. At the last minute I got a call saying she had to leave on an emergency. This past Sunday I showed up in the early afternoon, approximately 1:30, and I went to the office, it was closed. I called, the answering service said that they were showing an apartment. So, I drove the entire complex and waited some more. In fact, I waited until 4 pm. That is the time they were supposed to be there until. Noone EVER came to the office, it was locked and they were long gone with a sign that was there from the time I got there that read be back at 9:30. If you can't even get in to see them and that is the kind of tenant relations they encourage, I feel bad for anyone who already signed a lease and is trapped there with the "Non responsive" management staff, better yet, how about the non existant management staff.

In trying to reason what would make a person express such an ignorant prejudice, a quote comes to mind from the author of "The Peter Principal" Dr. Laurence J. Peter "TWO THINGS REDUCE PREJUDICES; EDUCATION AND LAUGHTER" Perhaps the author of these awful comments made on 6/17/09 should indulge in both!!!

I think instead of the management posting their "comebacks" and the tenants complaining and blowing hot air that instead of (the tenants) arguing on here and (the management) defending themselves maybe A. The Management should stop being so childish and arguing with people on here and fix your tenant issues and B. The tenants that have issues should fight back legally and/or move and stop allowing Oxford reality to rip you off. I find that instead of complaining and being part of the problem do something and become part of the solution.

I would GLADLY be a part of any potential legalities taken against Thunder Hollow. We have pictures and video showing water pouring our bedroom windows like a waterfall during heavy storms, over outlets and etc. We also have pictures of all the mold growing in our kitchen from our bathroom pipes leaking through the ceiling. Not to mention phone records of all the constant phone calls we made to them to get in and fix these issues that they constantly ignored. Please contact me if Im needed at all, Id be thrilled to be a part. In regards to the post right above me, this site is here for the very reason us previous tenants and current tenants are here discussing. While I agree with taking legal action, there is no need to tell us we shouldnt complain.

I know that there are some residents experiencing problems with their units. water seems to be an issue with many. I must say that I have been here for 6 years and have had only one or two times I had to wait for manintenance. I think people have to understand that the office only has the resources available that the owners allow. the staff does listen and act accordingly. Maybe if some residents would act with respect and dignity and talk to them like people, their responses would be more amicable. if it is water and heat/ac, these are priorities. some people call the office to say light bulbs blew out and want replacements. come on. pay on time, use decorum with complaints and ask respectfully an approximate time to expect it done. I agree the former owners were better, but budget cuts hit us all. the staff now handles more and hopefully, relations will improve.
