PLEASE TELL ME ALL APT COMPLEXES ARE NOT LIKE THIS!!! NO DOOR ON BEDROOM WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN, HAD TO BEG FOR ONE THAT NOW IS FALLING OFF. HAD A LEAK IN BEDROOM A FEW DAYS AFTER I MOVED IN WHICH I BEGGED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS TO GET FIXED. NOW, I HAVE HAD ANOTHER LEAK IN BEDROOM FOR OVER 2 WEEKS THAT HAS NOW SPREAD TO MY CEILING NEAR MY FRONT DOOR AND I CALLED APPROX 10 TIMES AND ALWAYS GET THE SAME LAME RESPONSES, "WE'LL CALL MAINTENANCE." "WE'LL SEND SOMEONE RIGHT OUT." "WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE ROFFER." THE LEAK NEAR MY FRONT DOOR COMPLETELY FILLED UP MY LIGHT FIXTURE AND DRENCHED THE ELECTRICAL WIRES. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THE ELECTRICAL WIRES WERE WET, BUT MY FEAR IS THAT MY APT COULD HAVE SET ON FIRE AT ANY TIME AND ME AND MY KIDS COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. THE CEILING MOLDY AND STAINED. I HAVE MADE IT CLEAR TO THE APT MANAGER AND STAFF THAT I WILL NOT PAY NOV RENT AND UNTIL EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO REPLACED IS, THEY WILL NOT GET ANOTHER DIME FROM ME. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAS FOUND A BETTER SOLUTION THAN JUST MOVING THE HECK OUT! IT'S HARD FOR A SINGLE MOM THAT WORKS FULL TIME TO JUST PACK UP AND LEAVE W/O A LOT OF PLANNIGN.

Just make sure when you hold your rent to go through the courts to do it , or you are subject to all fines and penalties and fees they are charged to take you to court for not paying your rent. its horrible there been out over a year now and they still send me an $80.00 water bill every month!! use the court system because they will

I feel your pain, i also am a single mom of 3 and have no where else to go. I have not had any leaks (YET) or mold (YET). But i also did not have doors on the down stairs bedroom and they came out and put some on (HALF ASSED) they do not have door knobs, the door jams and molding are just hanging on by a few screws. Many other problems (TOO MANY TO LIST)! I will be leaving as soon as i find another place and believe me i have been looking ever since i moved here which was only about 8 months ago!!

Unfortunately, they have become unresponsive to most requests. It was not like that when we first moved there but then it was sold to the current owners and they have just run it into the ground. I really believe they must have some ulterior motive for letting this formerly NICe property become what it is, Whenn I moved out 2 years ago, I still received water bills for over a year and finally threatened to sue the company. I always questionned the amount of the bill as it was way out of line for my usage. It is supposed to be divided by the number of tenants, but I don't for a moment think they have any idea of how many people are REALLY living in some of the units. You really all need to get together and start a class action suit. I am also convinced that they pay off some of the officials in Bensalem,-the Board of Health did little to deal with complaints of mold and vermin while I was there.
