Im currently a resident at Main Line Berwyn Apts and I must agree with all the complaints listed below. First off, I was appalled by a letter sent to all the tenants regarding cardboard boxes in the trash compacter.It stated that if tenants continue to put their boxes in the compacter they will be billed for maintenance's time (isn't that what maintenance is for') or if we were continuous repeaters, they would give us 6 days to vacate the property. First off, there is nothing in my lease stating that if I throw a box in the trash compacter I will be evicted and secondly every time I see maintenance they are standing around talking to each other or waving to people as they drive around. We seem to always receive many letters regarding the polices of the apartment buildings,which is fine because we all want where we live to be pleasant but all the letters are always threatening and the people who should abide by them dont. Instead of degrading the cooperating tenants, they should take action personally to those who dont, especially the tenant in the "B" on the first floor whose balcony is absolutely atrocious. Patio furniture only, MY ASS!!!!

I also had a problem with the office lady when I moved in and she charged me too much for a security deposit and insisted on telling me at the end of last year that I was late with my rent one month and I had to pay late fees. Both of these problems did get resolved, but I had to waste my time arguing about it.

Personally, I think the apartment complex would be an ok place to live in if it wasn't for the incompetent people they have working for them and the vomit scented air freshener in the elevators. We have a good amount of space, parking and the neighbors are very friendly. My lease is up in March and I will not be staying any additional time.

ps - And to top it off, I think we have roaches.
