I have lived in a one bedroom apartment on the second floor of this complex for 10 months and I would never recommend Highfield Crossing to anyone. The storage units are dimly lit and physically dirty. Maintenance will come to fix your problems although never adequately repairs them. I can hear every movement of my upstairs neighbors and next-door neighbors. Approximately every few weeks I am awoken by my next door neighbor being physically beaten by her boyfriend. My walls shake during this beating; I can't sleep from all of the commotion, and have even started sleeping in my living room! I am able to hear every conversation from the couple living above me. They are so loud that it seems as though there is a race track above me. They constantly turn their water on and then off again which echoes in my apartment at all hours of the night. I went to the landlord attempting to move out and was told I couldn't break my lease unless I paid the remainder of the rent which was $1,190.00! Which as you can imagine, I didn't have lying around! The landlord was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and assured me "things weren't as bad as I imagined them to be." I am extremely dissatisfied with my time spent at Highfield Crossing Apartments and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!
