Pretty nice.

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I moved here into a one-bedroom on my own the month after I graduated from college. The management that I dealt with at that time (there is a new manager now) was super helpful in all respects, but I haven't had real contact with the new manager yet.
My one-BR is huge, compared to everything else in the area I looked at. There are 2 large closets in the bedroom, room for a king-sized bed and dressers and nightstands. Plenty of space in the bathroom. There is another large closet in the hallway, and there is a (smaller sized) new washer and dryer stashed in another closet. Kitchen is eat-in and large with ample cupboard space and a ceiling fan. There is a small porch out back, and all units have private entrances.
Parking is nice, you get an assigned space, but there is visitor parking available. No lights in the parking lots, but there's lights on the outside of all the buildings, and the parking is right next to the building.
Neighbors are occasionally noisy- mostly I am able to hear my upstairs neighbor when kids visit her, and I am able to hear neighbors coming and going - though I live on the first floor, next to the entrance. The community itself sits back from the main road, and is quiet and peaceful, with a mix of old and young people, with some children around.
Grounds are well-maintained. Maintenance is usually very prompt and the maintenance guys have all been very polite and friendly - although sometimes takes repeat trips to get things fixed properly. You can tell there's a little wear-and-tear in the apartments (mostly, you can see some patchwork, etc, on the walls), but things have been very well maintained. The only thing I can think of that looked really worn when I moved in was the bathtub/shower.
So far the office staff has been helpful, there is a resident manager, with regular maintenance hours, plus a 24-hour emergency maintenance phone number.
Problems I have had:
-the A/C. This is my second summer in the apartment, and this is the second summer I've had water somehow get from the A/C onto my floor - something about a line freezing and clogging or whatever. Anyway, as a result, there is some water damage on my walls. Maintenance has come by repeatedly to fix it (as it had been a recurring problem for almost a month) and is aware of the water damage. The A/C issue seems to finally be resolved.
-Mice! Yeah, I know. I saw hardly a bug in the place until the first spring I was in the apartment. I saw a mouse run across the kitchen floor one night and nearly had a heart attack. Turns out management had had the exterminators around spraying for things the day before. Anyway, I had several furry visitors, all caught in traps - maintenance was aware, and was very nice about coming and emptying and resetting the traps for me. I had mice around for a month and a half... and didnt see one again.
Over all, I would reccomend these apartments. They have their stupid annoying problems, but where doesn't' It's a nice place to live, and the good far outweighs the bad.
