Can?t wait to move!

If you have money to throw around, this is the place for you. They just built a new "community center" and changed their name (The Landings...how fancy) with the latest rent increase. Some building...there's a "fitness area" (two treadmills, one universal weight system, and some free weights) and a room you can rent out for parties ($200 plus $200 deposit!).
There's still no playground (brochure says there is) and while there's a pool, there's no kiddie pool. Supposedly, there's a lifeguard on duty while the pool's open, but in four summers, I've seen the girl maybe three times. Rent has increased $180 in the three years since we moved in, but we have old or used appliances. Oh, and when our 18-cubic foot refrigerator broke down, they replaced it with a 16-cubic foot one. When I complained, they said they don't use 18-cubic foot fridges anymore! I've been forced to grocery shop every week (rather than every two weeks) because I can't fit anything!
The apartments are only wired for one phone line (no dsl or second phone for us!), and we're not allowed to put our satelite dish on the roof, so we have it in a window (reception's not that great). Storage space' What's that'
Parking sucks; it's in the leases that 1-bedroom apartments are allowed only one vehicle and 2- and 3-bedrooms are allowed two. No one checks! We only have one car (we're in a 2-bedroom apartment), and we're lucky if we find parking for that even though there are a few empty apartments around us! There's no lighting in the parking areas or for outside at all except for porch lights at the doors and a spotlight on the back of each building. We live on a curve, and I've almost been hit several times while taking our trash to the dumpster. There's no posted speed limit in the complex, but it states in the lease 15mph. Apparently people think the "1" is a "4".
I could go on and on about how bad this place is. I can't wait to move. There are MUCH nicer apartments and townhouses in the area that are LARGER and CHEAPER!
