I currently live in The Landing aka Valley Park South.

Pros:
Most of the time its a very quiet neighborhood. Beutifull area, neighbors are nice. Moved in during a special for no deposit. They are one of the only apartments in the area to allow pets.

Cons:
Maintanance is horrible, They never fix anything on the first or second visit if at all. They tell you they dont see anything wrong with it. It took 3 guys a total of 4 attempts and a flooded kitchen (wich i have a smell witch i can only attribute to mold comming from somewhere I cant get to )to install my automatic ice maker in my freezer. Id honestly rather have whatever is broke stay broke then to have these clowns in my house.

There is not even close to being enough parking for all the tenents.

Rent is considerably high for the area.

Cable TV/Internet is horendous. Service electric has replaced all cabeling outside the house last year (2003), Valley Park will not pay for the recabeling of the interior of the house with the cables are over 20 years old.

Ive had my stero stolen from my truck, my neighbor had his car stolen, my other neighbor had his car door lock destroyed.


If it werent for my friends also living here, id move in a second. Id say its a nice place to live if I were paying $400/mo. to live there, not $1150/mo
