Goodness, from reading the reviews of my apartment complex I'd have to think I was living everywhere from blissful Shangri-la to the fiery torture of hell itself. Here I'll attempt to be as balanced as possible - I don't want to sell you the place, and I'll rebuke a few of the more scathing attacks.

Firstly, trains certainly do pass the back of the complex; I hear them periodically, day and night. I'd estimate there is one every three or four hours, and if you sleep lightly, this is going to wake you up. For the record, it doesn't wake me up - and of course I'd rather they weren't there.

The place was beautifully clean when I arrived, security had helped Comcast install my internet connection, and everything was good to go from the first minute. I have had no problems with any kinds of infestations as mentioned by other reviewers.

I, personally, have found the staff very helpful. Anything I've brought to their attention has been dealt with promptly. None of these issues have been in any way serious.

Meetinghouse Road combines a mixture of different accommodation with varying incomes. Therefore crime, at some point, could occur. It hasn't effected me as of so far (which I am very grateful for). I can only comment on the experience I have witnessed. I'd suggest nothing more than basic awareness is needed.

The environment around the apartments is much more pleasantly maintained than a great many I have seen.

In conclusion, I'm not so sure some of the negativity expressed in reviews is not down to Boothwyn (the trains, the moderate crime, etc.) and in reality nothing to do with Meetinghouse Apartments - who have made a very good effort.

This one is definitely worth a look, and the great access to I95 made it ideal for me.
