Meetinghouse

 

I stayed at Meetinghouse (The "O" Building) from mid-August 2008 through late August 2009.

First let me say that I actually chose this place -in part- due to this website! My PERSONAL experience at Meetinghouse was quite nice.

I'm a single guy and a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath, two-story townhouse was more than enough room for me.

I paid $1,130/month for a newly refurbished townhouse apartment.

On the first day, my next-door neighbor was kind enough to help me move in and they invited me to Christmas Eve dinner, which was very nice of them.

I was very fortunate, since not every neighbor seemed like they were so nice.

Some ghetto types here and there.

The maintenance was great, the front office staff was great, the grounds were very well maintained, and the pool was beautiful.

After I left, I got my entire security deposit back.

(I cleaned the place spotless, so I expected to get every penny back!) So I have nothing bad at all to say about the place but could see where moving into the wrong building or next to the wrong neighbors could result in a bad experience.

That's just the luck of the draw.

But the Kaiserman organization did a great job of operating the apartment complex.

One suggestion: If you are not 100% absolutely positive that you're staying a full year, please sign only a six-month lease.

Breaking the lease has a penalty that is simply outrageous, so don't sign for a full year unless you 100% know you're staying a full year.
