Autumn Park is one of the nicest apartment complexes that you will ever "SEE". It?s landscaped very well , the grounds are clean, and the buildings are very modern looking. The apartments have all the modern amenities and they are the most energy-efficient apartments that I have ever lived in. The one major flaw is that when you look at this complex and see how much rent you are paying, you expect quality construction. The is not the case however. I quickly learned that the walls are so thin that you can hear EVERY sound that your neighbor makes. From conversations, to taking a piss, to walking across the floor, each sound is EXAGGERATED in these apartments. I lived on a bottom floor and I could hear every creaky step that my neighbors would take. It was so loud! You?d wake up every night because the guy upstairs had to get up and take a piss. You would have thought that my building was 100 years old, but it was brand new! It sounded like an old wood floor. And it didn?t get much better on the top floor. I would be visitng friends at a second floor apartment, and I couldn?t believe how loud the floor creaked by me just walking from room to room. I tried to move to another unit because my neighbors were so loud, and management would not let me do so. They treated me like I was a criminal for wanting to move to a second floor unit and they wanted me to pay a penalty to move. They are very strict and will not let you move to another unit. You get the sense when talking to their arrogant leasing agents that they get so many noise complaints, that they don?t take your concerns seriously. I?ve lived all over the country in many settings and I have NEVER seen a more poorly constructed apartment. Don?t judge a book by it?s cover. I don?t know one person who wanted to renew their lease. All of my neighbors left because the noise is too much to handle.
