These apartments are very nice for the price that you pay. The outside is always kept impecable and the insides are gorgeous. I've only been locked out of the mailroom once and it was fixed within 24 hours. I've called maintenance twice for non-critical repairs and had my problems resolved within 2 days. You typically can always get a machine in the gym, which is a big positive. The appliances in the apt. are all great. You even get a garbage disposal. The neighborhood is great. You can walk to a wonderful biking/running/blading park and you are 2 minutes from a shopping center. All this for about $1000, depending on the size of your apartment.

The problems:
Yes, sometimes you do hear the neighbors. I'm on the first floor and the only people I can hear are the people above us. I hear their vacuum cleaner and if I listen closely I hear their shower. I really have to listen hard to hear footsteps and other typical noises. You have to be careful that you gently close your door. Any force and it shakes the upstairs apartment.

Parking is an issue near my apartment. There is plenty of parking, but not in the close lot. I have to get over my lazy streak and walk from end the of block on many occasions.

The paint is REALLY cheap. You touch it and it comes off of the walls. You will need to repaint when you move out. There is nothing you can do to stop it.


All in all, you get what you pay for. The apartments are cheaper luxory apartments and you pay cheaper luxory rates.
