I moved into this place because I didn't have much dough when I came to PA. I was able to get in with a first month for $99 plus deposit. Rent is only $440 a month. Considering you are only a few minutes from King of Prussia and Conshohocken, that's not bad.

But you get what you pay for. Not everyone in this place is a thrifty yuppie. First there is Mr. Stinky. You want a fun ride' Just head up the elevator with this guy. If this guy had ever used soap you wouldn't know it.

Then there was another guy who was an admitted release from the Norristown State Hospital. He was scary.

The building sits on the Schuykill and the entire basement floor flooded out in 1999 for Hurricane Floyd. Everyone was evacuated by the fire department to Bridgeport Elementary. Don't ask me how that was. I snuck out the back and drove to a hotel. Neighbors did tell me that it was the best $75 I could have ever spent.

At least the original building manager was pretty good in keeping out violent dirtballs. It was after he left that things got pretty bad. The crowd that moved in made Mr. Stinky look like a welcome sight.

The El train that went by every few minutes and the freight train that rattle our windows just made it all the more charming, especially when you are trying to sleep.

Not having lived there for two years, I don't know whot kind of clientele they have attracted. But if its improved at all you can't beat the place for price and access.
