A day after we moved in, I noticed that my navy blue socks were covered with white cat hair, apparently from the prior tenant?s pet. So I knew right off the bat that the "cleanliness factor" was pretty low.


My downstairs neighbor set the new world?s record for the number of times any one person can use the expletive "motherf***er" in one argument. She also could apply for a job with Ikea as a replacement for one of those machines that repeatedly slams the doors of cabinets. During one fight in particular, the glasses on the shelves of my kitchen cupboard actually rattled.

The complex?s pool, one of its main selling points, was only open from July to August. By contrast, a nearby swim club opens its pool starting Memorial Day and ending Labor day.


The air conditioning unit for my apartment rattled loudly. When I complained to the renter?s office, they told me it was because it was an older unit. Apparently, them telling me it was an old unit was supposed to make me less angry at being woken up at night every time the compressor kicked on. Well, it didn?t.


The rental office was similarly unresponsive about the recurrent problem with our building?s exterior door locks being broken repeatedly.

Snow was not cleared in a timely manner. This was a especially a concern for the many elderly residents.




Governor Sproul stinks.
