We are currently in battle number two with management at governor sproul. We have only lived here for five months and we regret not listening to the reviews we read before moving in.
Battle number one started when the previous manager gave us specific permission to place our direct tv dish on the sidewalk that led only to our apartment. Then manager number two comes along and tells us we have to move it. We say sue, just pay the cancelation fee for our contract. They refused so we kept it there. Then they came while my mom was here watching our kids and moved it with out even a warning. When she asked, they were very rude to her...SHE DOESN"T EVEN LIVE HERE! Direct TV knows how to run a buisiness. They waved to cancelation fee.
Battle number two started when a pipe burst in our bedroom. Both my husband and I missed a shift of work to clean up this mess. We had to rescue all of our stuff from our room, dry all of our clothes, and the carpet company placed seven large fans and a dehumidifyer the size of a small frige in our bedroom. Our bed was up right in our hall for a week. We have kinks in our backs from sleeping on the couch for a week. Now we are stuck with the laundry bill and the electric bill for all that equiptment. They refuse to pay. We want compensation for the three full days each of us have already put into cleaning up their mess... not to mention the time we still have to spend putting thigs away.
We will be happy to update this review if they take the right steps in handling this problem.
I do have to give credit to the mainainance staff... they are very nice.
