Never, ever rent at Gov. Sproul. I just recently moved out and have never been happier. The apartment building is very dirty and very dangerous, with a lack of snow shoveling and salting in the winter. The lock on the main door took a great amount of effort to work.Numerous times I found elderly residents trying to get in and not being able to turn the key in the lock. Also, my pilot light on my furnance was constantly failing to light causing me to have the maintainence in and out of my apartment more than I felt comfortable with.Oh, and one out of four burners on the stove worked -- that never got fixed.

The neighbors are questionable and frankly I would run down the hall to my apartment if I was ever in the hall alone with any of them. One of them admitted to me that he went through my car one night when he noticed the door was unlocked! The people above me, I believe, wore concrete shoes throughout the day and into the wee hours of the morning --hence the constant stomping noises over my bed. Not to mention the young kids who hang out in big groups in the parking lot smoking and making rude, abusive comments to people as they walk by.

And the management -- I don't know what "Viking Managementment" is, but I think they are very shady -- and the office personel - aside from being rude and beligerent on the phone or in person are completely unhelpful -- to the point of being annoyed that you are annoyed. I am now in a battle with them in trying to get my deposit back. I may never see any of that deposit money.
Oh, and the pool, wouldn't get in it if you paid me---the water is a sickly greenish yellow color.
Gov. Sproul is the WORST complex I have ever lived in..... there is nothing good to say about it--don't rent there.
