This past week I was in the office and got to see first head how the management staff is treated. I have lived here now for over five years and can now understand why the staff do not stay, the way some of you people treat the staff is horriable. I felt so bad for the manager that I finally had to walk out of the office because I could not stand to listen to the way this person was speaking to her. There is a old saying do unto others as you would want done to you. I think people should learn to read before you go into a agreement. The staff has rules to follow and they must do so and I have never in all of my 57 years seen people treat people the way some of you treat the staff. I think there is a way to ask for something and to approach the situation as if it where you. I think the new manager is doing the best she can with such demanding residents and the way she is treated daily. I also understand that some calls are more important than others and should be addressed on that level. My dishwasher broke on a Tuesday afternoon and was not addressed until Thursday morning but I did not feel the need to yell and scream at the staff. Before I moved here I owed a home and I could never get anything fixed in one day heater,a/c,dishwasher notthing life is not like that and people need to stop thinking that it is because you live in a apartment.

I do think that some of the people that are writing these things should buy a home and see what the real world is like. My final reply is that I hope the manager and the upper management have a chance to read some of these comments and understand that the manager and her staff are dealing with some unrealistic people and not hold it againist them or should I say the manager because she is doing a good job and things are looking up and I was so impressed with how she held that situation. If it where me or one of my childeren I would have or had them walk off that job and not look back because there is not that much money in the world to have to put up with what she puts up with. GOD BLESS her.

I think you are a relative of the manager! Seems like you haven't been screwed by them yet. Nice to know that there are some residents who are actually being treated like residents.

I agree with the poster in that there are good ways to get things done. You kill more flies with honey that you do with vinegar, they say. Just from working in customer service, I know that people are more likely to want to help you if you're courteous and respectful of them, and I don't see anything wrong with treating management like that, too. Anytime I've had a problem here, I've done just that, and never had an issue with getting anything resolved in a timely manner.
