On my door i put up a mezuzah and it dissappeared. The next day I hung up another mezuzah and that dissappeared as well. I called the office and asked them what kind of security we had here. They said we didnt have any and that we could pay for it ourselves. While talking to them i told them that my mezuzah had been taken down twice. She responded and said that it was the maintenance people who did it under the order of the landlord. I didnt understand I asked to speak to him and she hung up on me. later that week ARO properties sent me a letter saying I was evicted.

Hope you can read this and avoid this place and my experiences.

So let me get this straight- you hung an object OUTSIDE of your apartment and then blamed the lack of security for it's theft? How about YOUR lack of common sense? You think your rent includes someone to babysit your religous items? And the hallway and common area is NOT yours to decorate....with any items. Move to a house. And as far as yout ignorant "anti-semite" accussation...1/2 THE OWNERS ARE JEWISH and one of the partners is from Isreal. You were probably evicted because you're a deadbeat. Quit your whining, maybe if you got a job instead of spending your days harrassing the office over something you have no right to do, you could have paid your rent. BYE!

a moronic response - mezuzot are hung on the door jamb, not outside, in the hallway or common area. being told it was under the orders of the landlord, but never having been told of those orders? and being hung up on, never getting confirmation from the landlord? and being evicted? sounds pretty bad. "You were probably evicted because you're a deadbeat" - sounds like "anonymous" is a nasty minded little creep.
