After reading the other reviews and just don't quite get it.
i've been living here for a little over two years now and am quite happy here. the apt is big and the price is less than the place behind us. the new heating system they put in works much much better than old system and i can control it myself. any maintenance problems that come up get taken care of. they've done alot of renovating to some of the apts (i peeked into one they recently did and it was gorgeous). the hallways got painting and some new trim work, looks nice. they tiled the lobby floor, instead of that carpet that used to be there.
i guess, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but i suspect it's just bitterness from a couple of people who do not want to pay for their own utilities.
best things to do: come see for yourself.

its not that at all we dont mine paying the extra utilities but when the heater they put in increases the electric bill dramatically that makes a big difference not to mention how crapy they look since they just put them on top of the old ones. the people that work here even say that they arent doing the renovating properly installing things improperly and not fixing leaks behind wall just covering them up. not to mention the drop celling that fell in the hallway not that long ago that sat in the hallway making it smell like mold for days. they also tried to raise our rent more the 30% if we wanted to stay (which is illegal they can only do 10%) of couse we denied an am glade we are moving. and how about that fact that our laundry room has'nt had hot water since the new owners took over. that only the chip of the iceberg!

This apartment was bought by a new owner only about a year ago. So I can only speak for about a year ago when I moved out. There were tons of problems with the old owner - you may actually go to the district court, only a mile away from the apartment, and as for citations against the apartment. That will tell the complete story. Reading the other user review, it appears the new owners are only fixing the cosmetic stuff. Good luck and cheers if you love the place

no thats how it was before the new owners. a lot has changed there now. i know how it was in the past but it really is different now. everything is new, inside and out. the old owners were really pathetic. but i agree its much better now-a lot nicer.
