I lived at Jefferson for 1 year (2004-2005)

Overall the experience was so-so, depending on what apartment complex you're assigned to dictates how well things will go for you. I lived in complex two, overall it was a clean apartment but the walls were paper-thin. Luckily I had quiet roommates, and neighbors (but my friends in the lower apartments did not). At night the neighbor above me would play soft music during the night which absolutely drove me insane. I ended up buying earplugs to get through the semester.

One thing I disdained about Jefferson is that you WILL NOT get your security deposit back, they simply refuse to give it to you citing whatever lame excuse they can thing of. My apartment was spotless when I left and yet they still charged a cleaning fee and refused to give my deposit back. I complained, and was given an address to write to. It was 2004, and instead of giving a phone number, email address, or the direct name of who I could complain to they told me to write a letter.

The staff is pretty much a joke, but I didn't have to deal with them much. They were arrogant and unprofessional.
