This building is certainly not paradise, but these reviews make very little sense.
1. On the Marks & Co. website, it states this is a perfect apartment "for students of area colleges." So, how could you be shocked it was packed with students'
2. It's "expensive." If you're a student, you might think it's expensive because you're working at Wawa and any rent seems like a lot of money. It's very competitive when compared with other places in the area.
3. It's too cold. I lived there for four years. The super lived in the basement and controlled the heat, so he jammed the heat to keep himself warm. I had all the windows open all year because it was so hot, to the point that they were hard to close when I left.
The building is old, and things break a lot. The management is semi-responsive at best. There is essentially no parking; you have to walk 2 or 3 blocks to find a place to legally park.
