Great when you move in....then falls apart!!!

The apartment was nice when we moved in. My apartment is on of the nicer one bedrooms available. I am moving because of needing a larger apartment. Also, the new Management requires that the tenant pay for the heat.. This was not part of my lease for the last two years. Another main reason for moving. Price's are decent compared to the area. new management could be more flexible than they are. I gave 40 days notice before I fulfilled my lease. They are saying that the notice was not in a timely manner. Trying to charge for an extra 20 days... NOT Flexible at all!!!!!
