I've lived in the Mermont Plaza for almost five years and love it. The maintenance department is quick to respond to problems and the building is clean and quiet. My only issue is the price. Each year, the company raised my rent a fair amount and kept tacking on fees. First, parking was $20 a month. Then it was $30 a month. Now it is $40 a month ($40/month to park in a lot''). Also, heat was originally included, but then they added an energy fee and the fee increased the following year. I am now moving out because there are other places in the area that are far cheaper.
