Radwyn Apartments are a good size when compared with other local aparments rentals and the grounds are maintaned very well. However...I am currently living in a first floor garden apartmet where there is a multitude of insects,I have a severe mildew/mold problem in my bathroom (shower, under sink, and behind walls), and the walls are so thin that I can hear my neighbors having intercourse. Lastly, there are some cultures living at the Radwyn that choose to exceed the number of people that are legally suppose to share an apartment.

This tenant's review is absolutely right on target - my husband and I had the same experience while living at Radwyn - we could not retire at night until our obese upstairs neighbor finally went to bed at 11 pm because her walking across the floor sounded like "Jurassic Park". As for the 'cultures' that overinhabit the apartments here: There is a disproportionate number of Asian and Indian tenants living there. Since Radwyn does not rent to students (unless you're a Graduate student)and their physical location is very desirable because of the proximity to the trains and trolley for those who don't own vehicles (or can't drive), this explains in large part who they attract as residents and ultimately end up renting to. Plus news travels fast in certain communities. Yes, the management company has strict rules in the lease concerning all of the usual issues that landlords like spelled out, but IF, WHEN and HOW they choose to enforce them is another matter entirely. The Radwyn is very arbitrary in enforcing their policies on many things - especially the number of people living in the units. You're supposed to have only 4 people in a two-bedroom/2 bath apt. but we had neighbors in our building who numbered 7-8 people with their relatives living there on a regular basis. Complaining to the Rental Office and to the owners (Kaiserman Company) did absolutely no good - they chose to turn a blind eye. Yet they seemed to go out of their way to hassle another neighbor about her car and where it was parked and another of our friends living there about not having a cover on their grill and other petty stuff. Completely arbitrary and inconsistent policies are the norm at Radwyn. And again, news travels fast if you're looking for a place that is too big and doesn't have enough caring or concerned staff with any decision-making skills or power to do anything about violations of the lease. Not to mention that it takes forever (months) to be evicted.

If you think they are violating the building code as to how many people are permitted per apartment, contact the township's building inspectors. They will rectify the situation immediately.

You are right!! The manager of the property and I use that term loosely is boarder-line nuts. She will set her sights on the minor details and allows almost anything happen there I have also found that she only worries about filling up the apartments and does not really care who she puts in there!! Forget going to the office with a problem and talking to her she pretends to care but really doesn't.She has sent me away several times with no results and nothing changed she is a real air-head. I too had a two bedroom apartment next to me with seven people in it and a new baby the smell was more than I could bare!! So glad to be out would never live there again!!!!! The other people that worked there are O.K.and did try to help but not her do yourself a favor and keep looking there are good apartments out there.
