I've lived in Creston now for nearly 3 years. I laughed pretty heartily at the other reviews - because they were pretty spot-on. There were definitely some freaks living here in my first year-and-a-half of residence. Luckily a good bit of them have moved out. Now we just have one elderly who's a day away from burning our building down, and a few older-than-college kids living above us who apparently haven grasped the concept of "growing up" yet. Had to call the cops on them a few times.
Management has been good to us because we've kept in touch with them - let them know of problems with other buildings or tenants ahead of time, kept them in the know. Whenever we've had a problem with our unit it's always been taken care of quickly. They recently repaved the parking lot which is now very smooth and clean. Parking is ample though I think when they repainted, they shrunk the lines a bit - can get kinda tight between cars. Still there's enough spaces that you can park away from the crowd. Power has only gone out once in 3 years from a major storm, no problems with flooding. Each building has a storage closet in the basement for each apartment unit which has been a god-send for those Christmas decorations, tool box, bikes, etc. And the price really can't be beat. Plus we have two cats which they didn't charge us anything extra for. Rent has only risen $25 in 3 years - can't really complain there.
Units also have two bathrooms - one off the master bedroom has a navy shower - real nice for small families.
I'm ready to move out into my own house, but looking back, I'm very glad I chose Creston. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
