Fairmount Park Apartments formerly Bunker Hill Apartments

I have lived here for the past 5 years, and this place is the best around. The rent is the cheapest for the area. Also being near Camp Hill you have the safety feeling of the west shore. I have lived in the "3 bedroom apartments" there nice, but a little too pricy, and you have to pay for gas, water/sewer and electric and you get 1200 to 1225 sq ft pending on what model you get.
I have lived in a 1 bedroom apartment which is just about 900 sq ft. and there is almost a $400 difference in rent. The 1&2 bedroom apts you only pay electric.
Some bad about this place is people are lazy with there animals, and dont clean up after them. So watch where you step. Granted it is a Lease violation.
In the past 5 years they have went thru a few manager's the current management is very very good. (march 2009) If you have a problem you will have it fixed rather fast. The maintance staff is very nice they actually talk to you. The pool is usually very well kept during the summer. The best thing is Pets are allowed, with a small pet deposit, and no monthly add on's... But if people dont clean up there maybe come a time where there will be a monthly charge. Some people always ruin it for everyone else. But Overall A great safe place to live.
