I had a wonderful living experience at the apartment. My husband and I lived there for a year just after we were married. We had a third floor apartment, and besides carry groceries up three flights of stairs, it was a good experience. Until we decided to buy a home and move. One of the other reviewers was right, you have a 10 day window in which to tell them your plans to renew, or they have the right to rent your apartment to someone else. So, because we hadn't found a house yet, we signed on for another year, knowing we would have to pay to break the lease. The day we left our apartment we scrubbed it top to bottom... our apartment was never dirty to begin with, it was just the two of us, and we both worked full time, we were hardly ever there. We turned the keys in that day. We were notified a few days later that they would be keeping our entire security deposit again. They were so dishonest. The woman at the rental office said, "we were surprised at just how dirty everything was". I really thought she must have had me mixed up with another renter! She informed me that they would need to deep clean the apartment and have the carpets steamed. I tried several times to have this resolved with the people from NPI and they were absolutely rude. One lady told me, go ahead and take us to court, it will cost you more to file the court claim, then it would be to give up your security deposit. I was so upset. I was really disappointed by the staff at the apartments and also NPI. I would be very careful if you were to rent from them.

I don't know what this person is talking about with the 10 day window thing. I live at Society Hill right now and have for three years, just renewed my lease and had over 60 days to make the decision! If you only had 10 days I'm pretty sure that was your fault, not the office's fault. I also find it funny that no one has anything nice to say here. Why are only the negative, angry people raising their fists? Just a thought. Oh and OF COURSE they are 'ANONYMOUS'
