Nice place - I lived in Fairmount Park for several years in two different locations. Overall it was a good place to live. I never had a safety issue. I was comfortable. A Good Bargain, All-in-All - I've lived in Creston now for nearly 3 years. I laughed pretty heartily at the other reviews - because they were pretty spot-on. not great not terrible the area is nice but i agree with previous reviews that they keep the grounds dirty and the staff is very rude. Overall you do get space but the basement floods and the appliances were very old and did not work well

uhgg the apartments themselves are a nice size
however they are very very expensive to heat
also the staff is very rude if you have any sort of problem
you will not get your security deposit back
there is alway trash all over the yards

Orchard Appartments Ummm, I don't reside in Orchard Apartments but I know a lot of people that do.
And I've been there MANY times.
This is the ONLY neighborhood where I've seen so many children.
There are TWO playgrounds, a basketball court and a lot of children.
