I lived at Parkside Estates in Canonsburg, PA for two years. The apartments are beautiful, in a quiet location, but the management is an ABSOLUTE JOKE! I deeply regret living there for two years, but again, I loved the apartment and it was close to my job.

The management is very lacking. Chris, the gentleman currently in charge, lacks the smarts and sincerity to pull off the blatant rip off scheme that A.R. Building Co. is trying to pull over its tenants. I must advise anyone living or planning to rent from Parkside, if you receive a note that you have late fees under your door, read them over carefully and fight them! We had received late fees for faults of their own. For example, we had to start mailing our rent check from the corporate office in Ohio to the one in Pittsburgh. The office in Pittsburgh, which must have a combined IQ of 10 office wide, received our rent checks before their due date. There were THREE checks in the envelope. The said our rent was late that month and we noticed that two of our checks hadn't cleared. They said they had received one check but not the others... we told them that that had to be highly unlikely because we sent all three checks in the SAME envelope! The assistant at the office went back and checked the envelope(they keep the envelopes for postmarks) and sure enough the other two checks were there! Please note that if I had ever done that at my job, I would have been fired. This is just one instance in the numerous Parkside follies that we had to endure.

Rest assure, everyone might not have to put with this childish display of management, but due to numerous complaints from other tenants and neighbors, I believe that it would be highly unlikely. So to all looking to rent from Parkside- BEWARE OF THE MANAGEMENT! vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

YES! I AGREE..NICE PLACE..WORST MANAGMENT EVER. IHAD THE SAME PROBLEM. 3 TIMES I GOT ACCUSED OF LATE RENT. WHEN IT WAS CLEARLY PROVEN BY ME CHECK WAS CREARED BY DATE AND THEY JUST DID NOT FILE IT.3 TIMES GETTING LETTERS THREATING ME I HAVE 10 DAYS TO LEAVE. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK TO LET ME KNOW IT WAS OK.CHRIS THEN STILL CHARGED ME LATE FEES.HE IS THE BIGGEST DUMMY IN THE WORLD.HE SHOULD NOT BE THERE AT ALL.CANT WAIT TO LEAVE!

usually the ones that have problems with management and late fees are the ones that don't pay on time or at all.
