not my dream home

There are good and bad things about Washington Gardens. On site maintenance is normally quick and responsive. On site manager is a pain to deal with. Off site management appear friendly at first, but really would rather not deal with you at all, they just want your rent money. There is minimal noise from neighbors. There is laundry on each floor but you can only do laundry at your chosen 'assigned' time. Good location, close to highways and close to shopping centers. Overall is pricey - and watch out for that rent increase. No one goes out of their way to smile or say hello. There are two buildings on the property and the one I live in has a lot of older/elderly so I feel out of place. They're quiet, but really fussy. Good appliances in the kitchen, good water pressure. There is garage parking for a fee. Exercise facility is not in my building, and it is small, about 5 machines total. Port Authority Bus Stop is right across the street, though, and that is nice. There are ups and downs to this community. Just depends on what things are most important for you and fit your needs.
