Whitpain Hills is very quiet and picturesque in the spring and summer months. The fact that they allow pets, including larger dogs, is a real plus--so many places do not. The townhouses are large and have dishwashers and washer/dryer units. There is little storage space. The officewoman is nice when she is around, but the office hours are sparse. My advice is to absolutely get a copy of your lease--do not take "we?ll drop it off in your mailbox" as a response. I lived there for over a year, asked all the time, and never got one. We were too nice about it. Also, arrange a walk-through when you leave so that the apartment is okayed--in writing. And assure the return of your security deposit--in writing. We did NOT get our deposit back, one month?s worth (!), and we encountered at least one other man who complained that he didn?t either. If you protect yourself, you should enjoy your stay.
