I have lived here for almost a year and a half, since then we have had several mice in our apartment. The exterminator only comes on Mondays so we were forced to buy our latest trap. I was sick of waking up every morning with mouse crap all over the counters, the floor and on the grates in the stove. We caught the darn thing the other day! He was number 2 this year. The amount of money I pay for rent you would think that I wouldn't have to live like this. I'm a clean freak and obsessed with keeping things nice, you can imagine the horror of knowing I have a mouse problem. The worst part is we asked for new grates for the stove since ours had been pooped on (I did bleach them every-time)the office said they are $20 dollars a piece and we are better off just buying them ourselves from Wal-Mart or Target. You would think they would give them to us because of the situation. Besides the mice problem, noise is second on my list. Don't live here if enjoy peace and quiet. I'm constantly woken by the kids on the floor above me. Apparently they think it's a playground at 5AM. It's so bad at times that I had to go out and buy a white noise machine, to try to tune out the sounds above me when I need to go to bed at night. The last thing I should mention is my car was broken into twice and the third time it was actually stolen. They recovered it a month later in Wilmington, stripped and basically a shell. Needless to say I had to buy a new car. I'm not the only one this has happened to either! The office is well aware of the problem and has done nothing about the crime problem around here. With the money we all pay for rent they should be able to afford some kind of security camera or guard at night. Whatever you do DO NOT MOVE HERE! I know it seems nice at first but you will regret it, trust me! I'm so glad my lease is almost up so I can move far away from this hole in the wall!

We lived here for 6 months and broke our lease and moved for the exact same reasons. Camden VB is like living in Section 8 housing. We've actually lived in less desirable neighborhoods for much less than Camden VB charges and had none of the problems that we encountered while living at the overpriced Camden.
