I lived here for four years and overall I was pretty satisfied. It is an older complex, which means that I did have some maintenance issues, however they had thick walls so I never heard my neighbors. I was in building M, which was nice and had an elevator. Also, parking wasn't an issue by my building however I know other buildings like A & B that had parking issues. I walked to the train every day to commute to work and even coming home late I never felt unsafe. In general I didn't encounter neighbors often, but when I did they were friendly. No apartment is ever perfect, but I think the low review percentage is misleading from my experience. I was bummed because I was transferred for work out of state right before the new windows were being put in. I hope they are a nice improvement for keeping heat and A/C in. The old windows were drafty, at least in winter you weren't paying the heat bill, but in the summer it took a bite out of your wallet. I never used the pool or fitness center so I can't speak to that. I never really had major bug or pest issues. I had a cat and would leave the screen to the balcony open to let her in and out in the summer so occasionally I did have a few bugs, but that was my own doing. The cabinets and bathroom are pretty dated, but the appliances had been updated in recent years. The convenience to grocery stores and the train made living there worthwhile for me. I didn't have any issues getting my security deposit back and the rental office folks were always pleasant. Overall, it's a decent place to live.
