Ventana Hills looks nice and thats about it. The managers have no care for their residents they are just waiting for 5 p.m so they can hit the bars. If there is a problem it is just to bad. The leasing consultants seem to come and go except one, which is the one that should go because her cell phone seems to be more important than the residents and she constantly has an attitude. The maintenace staff is just awful, it takes forever to get something fixed and you better cross your fingers that it is fixed correctly. Not to mention that you will probably have to remind them 3 weeks later that it still has not been fixed, then maintenance will come to "try" to fix it. Your rent will go up hundrends of dollars. You will get deals to come, but none to stay. They say its gated, but the gate is up all the time with exception of a few hours at night. The security guard is sleeping half of the time when it is down and it is very dark in the back of the buildings. You pay for rent, water, and all utilties. Your better off buying a house and not dealing with the hassle that you would have to there. I stayed for 6 months and that was plenty for me! If you do move there get ready for restless nights from noisy neighbors and don't bother complaining to the office staff because they won't do anything about it!

I absolutely agree. I didn't even bother reporting anything that went wrong with the apartment because I knew it wouldn't be repaired promptly. The rent is WAY too expensive for the quality of the apartments. My unit obviously had the same carpet, flooring, etc as what was there when the apartments were originally built. Everything is worn, and is in dire need of replacement. The landscaping is nice, as is the pool and fitness room, but that's about it. The aparments themselves are starting to look rundown and shabby. If you do rent here, do NOT take a unit on a lower level, with people living above you. With the poor construction, you can hear everything that goes on. I've had first-floor apartments in other complexes in the past, and none were as loud as this. Overall, I'd say don't rent here-- they're way overpriced and not worth it at all.

Your both just idiots! I live at Ventana. And yes things break. And yes maintenance will fix them and maybe even fix them again. What do you think appliances live forever? They try to do everything possible to make it run correctly. After the 3rd time of the same problem with my washing machine, they replaced it. Why is that an issue? I was taken care of and they did it with out wasting any time. I was very happy with there service.
As for the guard, did you ever report that he was sleeping?? And if you do not tell them things are wrong with your apartment ... HOW DO YOU EXPECT THEM TO KNOW????
My apartment was beautiful when I moved in. Freshly painted, carpets were cleaned and so was the apartment. As for noise from other residents, I barely hear anything. And even if I do... I live in a APARTMENT. If I was looking for complete silence, I would of bought a house with nothing and no one around it. Maybe you should consider that!

I also live at Ventana and I agree with the first 2 responses. You must be either a.) very lucky or b.) friends with the management, because I have had to complain several times before maintenance would even attempt the first time to fix my leaking faucet. I do understand that things don't last forever and do break, but it would be nice if they would at least show up to try to fix it. The bugs are awful, and the staff stinks. Their excuse is fair housing, its fair housing unless you are their friends, then all of the rules get broken. I think the manager has LMS. People are moving left and right and come January, I will right in line with everyone else. Trust me move elsewhere! You could buy a house with the money you would put in to this garbage dump!
