I moved to Devon, PA from Wisconsin. Having owned my home in WI, I was not looking forward to renting again.

This place was quieter than I expected - though a little noisy on weekend nights (no surprise, I guess).

The community is diverse. Some college students, some familys, many foreign born occupants, some retirees. The pool and weight room are nice.

The management office and shared space is nice but it costs $150 to rent it out.

We lived on the first floor and entered and exited the apartment from our patio, so didn't see much of the common spaces in our building. However, when we did go through the front door, common spaces seemed to be relatively clean and well kept.

Maintenance was always prompt, and usually fixed things the first time.

Some people who post here are surprised that they have to pay rent and buy their own light bulbs. I was not surprised by those things.

I should say that there are almost no overhead light fixtures in our apartment and we had to buy a few new lamps when we moved here.

Yes, the apartment was expensive, but this is a very expensive part of the country.

Well you are a rare lucy person. The common areas are filthy. dogs pee in the halls which already stink of gross cooking.

yeah, do you work at this complex posting a false comment? Its fithly and it smells horrible. Not to mention the hoodlums that are patrolling the pavement at night doing drugs behing the community center. Its shamefull
