I have been living here for about 7 months. The only complaint that I have are the walls being pretty thin, and they don't do a great job salting the parkng lot. There are a lot of children here, so expect to hear children playing in the halls when it is either too cold or rainy outside. They do get loud at times, but they never play in the halls during inapropriate hours. Also remember that this place is dog friendly. There will be the occasional barking every now and then, but the ones by me are really pretty good. To answer your question before it is asked, no I do not have any pets or children.

One also has to be careful about having loud guests over at night, or playing your music too loud. If my neighbors are having a loud conversation, it will sound like they are sitting in the same room as me. Things can be heard quite clearly from apartments next to eachother, though I tend not to hear too much from people below me.

As for the salting issue, it had sleeted the other night and the parking lot was a mess. The next morning there was no salt on the ground, but the ice was a good half of an inch thick. Neither the parking lot or sidewalks got salted at all until the day after that, but they did salt a bit infront of each of the doors. Needless to say nobody was too happy about this at all. I had spoken to somebody who has lived here for years, and apparently they are never good at salting.

Everything else is in pretty good order. There were a few dings in my apartment before I moved in, but I just marked them on the evaluation form that I got. I sugest looking through the apartment and filling it out before you move in. After filling out the form, and request the maintenance people to fix everything for you before you move anything in.

The windows are very well insulated. They just changed them in all of the apartments, and my apartment is completely draft free!

Oh and the laundry rooms are kept in very great order! There is one in every building, so you don't have to walk outside in the rain. They are cleaned regularly, and I have yet to go when a machine is out of order. The halls are also regularly vacuumed.
