I have been here for a year and can't wait until I leave. The electric and gas bills are outrageous. My 1 bedroom is more than a car payment per month in AC alone. I didn't use the gas heat at all for several months yet there were still charges for units of gas used' When Peco came out they said it was used. NOT BY ME and I live alone.
The new management have planted some trees and have promised to put new doors on but this won't prevent the extremely inefficient back drafts and air leaks from the patio door. My apartment is "remodelled" but like another poster mentioned, I doubt there is any insulation. Shoddy carpeting, cracks everywhere. It was nice at first but when you wake up after a month and really see your apartment you will regret moving in here. I would not recommend. I read the last post who said about Section 8 not being here. I have been told by many longtime residents that they are here and that the grandfather clause prohibits their eviction.
