when we moved in we were a little leary. The apartments are nice and getting better since we moved in. However since I have moved in. I have seen the police called here several times. Cars have been broken into including my own. People have been arrested and tonight to top it off we saw fire trucks and police cars and ambulances and after all that we have seen before didn't think much of it, until we went to check it out and all the neighbors were outside with the police standing around the trunk of a car. Apparently someone had gone out to their car earlier tonight and opened their trunk to find a dead body in it. Whether this person lived here or not is questionable but it is still scary. So make your own decision. The apartments are nice since new management took over but the neighborhood is still questionable.

I spoke to one of my local cantacts and the above is true, but not completely accurate. Yes, the police, fire co and ambulance were there last week, but that was for a 17 or 18 year old that shot himself. Yes, there was a body found in a trunk but that was about a month and a half ago. Yes, there have been 6 drug related shootings in the past 3 months in Meadowlake.......You really wanna live there?

The police, ambulance, etc are in Meadowlake ALL the time. We had somebody who would only come aaround at night, dressed in all black, and he use to hang out near our windows, back door, and our neighbors as well. The police were called out once in the matter by a neighbor who saw him standing at our window. Thier is always something going on, and when you try to find out what it is, no one at meadowlake will say anything- like it never happened. Oh and Don't forget the fire, and all the UTI (auto school students in thier 20's) who drive like nascar drivers around the parking lots. AND one last note- the last snow storm- it took them 3 days before the sidewalks were shoveled.

I lived there for almost a year (had to move early due to job) i never once saw the police or any fire trucks. The UTI students DO drive like Nascar drivers but they are all nice and they don't party like college kids.
