ask to see a real apartment

Make sure if you want to live here you ask to see a real apt., not the model. The Model looks nice and is pretty. We didn't have a choice and had to rent an apt. blind (moved from out of state). I cried when I came into the apt. There is so much paint on the outlet covers that the plugs don't stay plugged in. The vents also don't move at all so the direction they are pointing is the way they will stay. They don't mention anywhere that there aren't over head lights in the bedrooms or living room. It is nice that we have a washer and dryer in the apt. but we live on the first floor and the dryer vents right into the kitchen!! I don't know if this is a code violation but I would question it. Also the cabinets are painted a nice beige color, only on the outside, the inside is still the dark mahogany and the shelves are cut pieces of plywood. When the wind blows it blows cold air into our apt. through the vents and the cold air return vent. I have mentioned this several times but the issue hasn't been resolved. Make sure you don't have high standards when you move in here and plan on being cold unless you want to have your heat on all day long.

I'm sure if you talked to the manager, Tara, she would probably let you out of your lease. It's obvious that apartment living is not for you.

The air coming in from the exchange vent during the winter is bitter cold. Your feet are always cold.GOOD luck getting them to address this issue.
