My fiance and I moved in to Norwood House Apartments in 1999. We looked at the apartment and said we would like new carpet. Management said no way, this carpet is fine. I mean there was stains all over the rug, burn marks from an iron, animal stains you name it. We weren't happy but, excepted the apartment. Two years later we made a second request for new carpet. The Management said no , once again. This really ticked us off!! The Management team is very rude and very inconsiderate. The new woman in charge is a lying witch!! She would type letters and post them up in the apartment complex's. In these letters she would state, how great our apartments are, how we rank with other apartment communities. In my opinion who cares!!! We pay rent we don't own. Bare with me there is so many things I have to cover. The washers and dryers always break down, at least once a week. The washers would bleach your clothes. Closet door knobs would break off constinly. There was always insects in the apartments also. Mold in bathrooms and around windows. This is a classic example of robbery. We had problems with our bank two or three times with checks clearing on time. So the management team at Norwood took it upon their selves to take rent out of our security deposit. Some nerve! This included electric anything they could take from you they would! The pool is very dirty also. No landscaping not even a rock. Oh and you have to love the hearing petitions they put on your door if rent is a day late. Remember we were late twice in three years and we weren't at fault our bank was. The complex is owned by Westover. These people are thieves!!! Last but not least make sure if you are planning to move out you let them know in writing with a months notice, also send them a second notice telling them your last date. We did not do this and got charged an additional month's rent. All in all the apartments were terriable. For the price of $200.00 dollars more a month you can do so much better. One more thing they have got to start sceening some tenants, the people they let rent there are straight out of a Jerry Springer show.
