my husband and i have been living in this complex for 1 and 1/2 years and have recently found we have been being poisoned by toxic mold in our apartment. the mngmt. staff has blamed it on our "poor" use of cleaning tools and says it's just "surfice" mold. we have stated documents of lab tests we ran in our apartment and still they will not yeild and do something about our situation. our drs. have written letters claiming our conditions (to numerous to name, one of which is athsma) did not exist prior to us living here! we have had pest problems, high electric bills, out of order washers and dryers (to the point i had to cal the fire dept. for a washer about to ignite the building, falling ceilings in our bath that got little to no repair, faulty air conditioners that they want us to buy new for the apt. rather than them replace, and a host of other problems i don't have enough time to name! the most toxic mold found in our test was aspergillus! which can cause a hole world of problems! and in extreme cases, death! please! i beg everyone not to live here! yes the rent is a little cheaper, but it increases every year! and yes you can have pets, but they charge per, plus a deposit! save a headache and your health, pay more and live somewhere else! as long as it's not owned by westover, you will live to see the end of your lease!
