I've seen worse places out there, but for the money, it wasn't really worth it.

Noise was horrible at times. The side walls seem pretty reasonable, although loud music from next door was an issue, but the ceilings provide almost no noise insulation. At night, I could literally hear my upstairs neighbors going to the bathroom. Not a pleasant way to fall asleep.

Office staff ranged from pleasant to downright creepy, depending on whom you talked to.

Electric bills were beyond outrageous in the winter. Summertime bills, with air conditioning running frequently, was around $80, but in the winter, with heat on, it went up to $130 per month.

Maintenance was iffy. The two emergency calls I made (heater stopped working, and hot water stopped) were both responded to rather quickly and effectively. However, routine maintenance was a major problem. It took 3 trips and 4 calls to get 2 of my 3 phone jacks working when I moved in (they refused to fix the third, claiming that I was only supposed to have 2, and that a previous tenant had installed the third and therefore it didn't matter if it worked).

All in all, you can find better apartments.
