I have had a very unpleasant experience here at Norwood House Apartments. I'll just get right to the main facts. When I first moved in, the apartment was not clean (like it was supposed to be). There was food stains and crumbs in the kitchen cabinets and drawers. The bathtub in the hall bathroom had mildew stains and dirt in it. The oven was dirty. There were little black hairs EVERYWHERE: on the walls, the carpets, and even in the refrigerator. It smelled horrible in here too. I was very disgusted. The worst part is that I complained to the leasing office about all these issues and they did NOTHING for me. They promised to have the cleaners come in the apartment and clean, but they did not follow through with it. So, I was forced to clean the entire apartment by myself with no help from the leasing office. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you don't mind living in other people's filth and having poor maintenance, then this place is for you. But I would never rent another apartment owned by The Westover Companies, and I am not renewing my lease next year.

Additionally, I could have sworn that the leasing office lady told me (before I moved in) that the heat and hot water were included in the rent. Then after I got my first electric bill, I found out that that was not true. I feel as though they rip you off with the electric.. you don't even get to see the real Peco bill every month. So pretty much, they could charge you anything.

Parking is fine. I always have a spot to park. However, during my first week of living here, someone on a motorcycle hit my parked car and TOTALLED it. Not even joking. My first two weeks at Norwood were a complete mess.
