My husband and I lived very comfortably at this complex for 8 months. We were forced to break the lease,which required us to pay a large sum of money to secure the apartment for an extra 60 days even though we would be living out of state.The property management assured us that we were considered "on the lease" for an additional two months.
Imagine my surprise when our water bills continued to roll in and show usage on an "empty" apartment. Well, they felt it was okay to re-rent our apartment and make double the rent on an already exorbitantly priced one bedroom!!!Not to mention the over priced , pro-rated water bills supplied by Studebaker Inc. which is in fact owned by Korman. The staff was hostile, the vice president .... well I won't say how she treated us.We are lawfully owed thousands of dollars by Korman (it's illegal to double rent apartments)and their answer is to "go pound salt"!
Needless to say I have taken this case to the highest legal level within the state. Renters beware....protect your interests and keep your ears and eyes open. If this company has the opportunity to bilk you out of your hard earned money ; THEY WILL.
