I am a graduate student and have had a positive experience with College Park. My main concern was parking. They work at keeping non-tenants out so I have never had a problem finding a spot. Everything is always plowed and, in these Edinboro winters, that's a tough job.
The times I do hear about people having a problem around here is usually because they did not bother to read and understand the lease when they moved in. The management must comply with the lease and everyone is usually agreeable and happy until something happens that does not go their way. Then it's a different story. I think a lot of that is because most of these tenants are young and this is the first time they have lived on their own and just don't have a handle on the "real world".
Another of the really great things about living here is the FREE summer storage. If you are returning to your same apartment, you can leave your belongings there until you return in the fall semester. That is a huge asset for me because I do not want the hassle or expense of everything home every nine months.
The pricing compares favorable to the dorms. And if you throw in the price of a meal tick on campus, it's actually a real savings. I only lived in the dorms for one semester and got out of there as soon as I could. The dorms rooms are just too small and I stayed sick the whole time I was there.
I read the review of the girl who could not be out in time because she had to have surgery but was made to get out even though she had a problem. That girl happened to be my neighbor. I felt really bad for her but her lease was over and another tenant was moving in. The management had to honor the new lease. I think the management does a good job and would highly recomment this location.
